The winning numbers were 22, 10, 17, 5, 44 and 36, with supplementary numbers 3 and 11. Her winning entry was purchased from the Morwell Lottery Centre on Commercial Road, Morwell.
When lottery officials called to deliver the news, the woman admitted she was stunned. “I’m just dumbfounded. I actually feel quite numb,” she said. “I’ve played these numbers for over 50 years.” Asked what she planned to do with her newfound fortune, she laughed — admitting she had no immediate plans. “My mind is completely blank. It doesn’t even feel real,” she added. For now, she plans to “let the news sink in” — and to enjoy a special Christmas.
